Hello everybody, I am hoping that somebody out there may be able to help me. I have a motorised turntable that I am hoping I can fit with a variable spped switch. It spins so fast that I fear anything put on will end up the other side of the room. Very funny to watch I'm sure but not much use. I have no idea what sort of motor it is or even if it will take a speed controller, or how to fit it. I have trawled the internet but have been unable to find any info. Any help given would be very gratefully received, I have added a few pics to help.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Re: motor id
Hello.
Not really enough info to make any comments yet.
What is the motor driving - is it (say) a potter's wheel or for car wheel balancing?
Is there a plate on the motor which will say its manufacturer type number, speed, volts or amps, horsepower, A|C/DC/both input? Watts consumed, or similar? Posting a photo of that would be very useful.
What supply are you using?
Any idea about the actual speed reduction you would need?
